  • What information can I find on the home page?

    Click on . Here you can find the following information.

    Information about you

    Here you can see how complete your profile is. You can see the total number of your likes, gifts, and badges. The number of unread messages will also be displayed.

    Flames

    In the top left corner, you can see the number of your flames. For every day you consecutively open the app, you receive one flame.

    Homework Help with AI

    Here you can use the artificial intelligence to help with your homework. You can ask questions with a click or scan your task directly.

    Newest Community Members

    If you are not registered or don't have any profile visitors yet, the newest scoolio community members will be shown to you.

    Your Profile Visitors

    If you're logged in, the last 10 profile visitors will be displayed.

    Timetable, Tasks, and Appointments

    The tiles show your next lesson in the timetable, as well as your next task and appointment.

  • How can I send a message to other students?

    Go to the profile and click "Send Message".

  • How can I create a group?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Groups". Then click on "Create Private Group".

  • How can I edit a created group?

    Open the group and click at the top right on . Then click on "Edit Group". A window will open where you can change the group information. Please note that you can only edit groups you created or groups where you're a moderator.

  • How can I leave a group/chat?

    Open the group/chat and click at the top right on . There you can click on "Leave Group/Chat".

  • How can I mute a group/chat?

    Go to the group and click at the top right on . There you can click on "Mute Group". If you want to undo the mute, click on "Unmute".

  • How can I delete a sent message?

    Long press the message you want to delete. A window will appear. Click on "Delete Message" and it will be permanently deleted.

  • How can I copy a message?

    Long press the message. A window will appear. Click on "Copy Message".

  • How can I delete a group/chat?

    You can only delete a group if you created it or have the rights to do so. Open the group and click at the top right on . There you can click on "Delete Group".

  • How can I report a message/group/chat?

    Open the group/chat and click at the top right on . There you can click on "Report Group/Chat". If you long press the message, you can report individual messages by clicking on "Report Message". Please describe the reason for the report as detailed as possible so we can understand it better.

  • What are moderators in groups?

    The creators of a group are moderators. They need to ensure that the members of the group follow the community guidelines. They have the ability to remove users from the group and edit permissions for individual members.

  • How can I find other users?

    Click at the bottom on . There you can scroll through the profiles of other users.

  • How can I report other users?

    Go to the profile of the person you want to report.

    Click on

    Click on "Report Profile".

    Select the reason and provide details.

    Then click on "Submit".

  • How can I block other users?

    Go to the profile you want to block and click at the top right on . Click "Block Profile". The user can no longer send you messages. If you want to undo the block, click on "Unblock Profile".

  • What is the "scoolio Help & Support" chat?

  • What is the "scoolio Career Chat"?

    Here you can ask all your questions about career orientation in areas like vocational training, studies, or internships. We support you and are happy to answer your concerns.

  • How can I send a voice message?

    Hold the microphone button and speak your message. To send it, simply release the microphone button. If you want to cancel your recording, swipe across the display.

  • How can I like other users?

    Go to the person's profile and click on Like. Or swipe through the Discover screen and click on .

  • Can I undo a like?

    Yes, you can by simply clicking on "Liked" in the profile.

  • How can I add friends?

    If you give someone a "Like" and they also give you one, you are automatically friends on scoolio.

  • Why am I automatically in different chats and can't leave them?

    You will be automatically added to three chats. These chats are: scoolio News: Here you will be informed about all updates. You cannot leave this chat. scoolio Help & Support: Here you can ask us questions about the app. You can leave this chat. scoolio Career Chat: Here you can learn about training and study opportunities and contact companies. You can leave this chat.

  • How can I create a timetable?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on , and click on a subject, e.g. German, to add it to the timetable.

    Now click on in the timetable to add the subject at the appropriate time.

    When you're done, click on to save.

  • Where can I find my created timetable?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

  • How can I add a new subject?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on the top right on .

    Click on "Add and edit subjects, teachers, rooms".

    Click on and enter your information.

    Then click "Save".

    The new subject will appear in your subject list.

  • How can I delete a subject from the subject list?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on the top right on .

    Click on "Add and edit subjects, teachers, rooms".

    Click on the subject you want to delete and then click on at the top right.

    Then click on "Yes, delete subject".

  • How can I change abbreviations, colors, and information for existing subjects?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on the top right on .

    Click on "Add and edit subjects, teachers, rooms".

    Click on the subject you want to edit and enter your information.

    Then click on "Save".

  • How can I delete individual hours from the timetable?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on in the timetable to enter edit mode.

    Click on the subjects in the timetable that you want to delete.

    When you're done, click on to save.

  • How can I adjust the start times and hours?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on the top right on and then on "Edit class times".

    At the top, you can then choose between Week A and Week B.

    Click on the time fields and adjust the class times.

    Click "Save" to apply the settings for all days of the week.

    Click on "Apply to Week A" or "Apply to Week B" to apply all changed times to the other week.

  • How do I set my break times?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on the top right on and then on "Edit class times".

    At the top, you can then choose between Week A and Week B.

    Click on the break times, set your breaks, and click "Apply".

  • How can I add more hours?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on the top right on and then on "Edit class times".

    At the top, you can then choose between Week A and Week B.

    Scroll down and click on "Add class".

  • How can I delete existing hours?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "Timetable".

    Click on the top right on and then on "Edit class times".

    At the top, you can then choose between Week A and Week B.

    Scroll down and click "Remove class".

  • How can I add a grade?

    Click at the bottom on , then on the "Grades" tab at the top, and finally click on at the bottom right.

    Select the subject for which you want to add the grade.

    Click on the text field if you want to change the default title.

    Click on the field below to select the grade.

    Click on the field below to select the grading scale.

    Click on the last field to set the date.

    Now click on "Add grade" to save.


    Note: If you are entering a grade for the first time, you need to choose your grading system and click "Save". This prompt will only appear once.

  • How can I delete a grade?

    Click at the bottom on , then on the "Grades" tab at the top.

    Click on the subject in which you want to delete the grade.

    You will now see a list of all entered grades. Swipe the entry to the left to delete the grade.

  • How can I adjust the grade weighting?

    When entering a new grade, you can choose whether it should be weighted normally or doubled. If you want to create separate grade categories and weight them, go to the grades overview, click on the respective subject, and then click on the menu icon at the top right.

  • How can I weight my subjects differently?

    Click at the bottom on and then on the "Grades" tab at the top.

    Click on the menu icon at the top right.

    Click on the option "Subject weighting (double weight subjects)".

    Click on the subject for which you want to adjust the weighting.

    Click on the arrow at the top left to return to the subject overview. Your settings will be saved automatically.

  • How can I change the grading system?

    Warning: If you have already entered grades and want to change the grading system, all your previously entered grades will be deleted.

    Click at the bottom on , then on the "Grades" tab at the top, and then click on at the top right.

    In the "Grading system" section, you can change and save it.

  • How can I set my target grade average?

    Click at the bottom on and then on the "Grades" tab at the top.

    In the grades overview, click on the "Target average" field to set a goal for the overall grade.

    Click on a subject and then on "Target average" to set a goal for individual subjects.

  • How can I add a homework task?

    Click at the bottom on , then on the "Tasks" tab at the top, and click on .

    Select a subject if you want to add a subject-specific homework task. For a general to-do, don't select any subject.

    Now enter the homework task in the "Title" field.

    Optional: You can add more information in the "Details" field.

    Specify the due date for your homework.

    Optional: Enable a reminder and set the reminder time by clicking on the field.

    Optional: You can add a photo/document by clicking on the camera icon.

    Then click on "Save".

  • How can I add a calendar event?

    Click at the bottom on , then on the "Appointments" tab at the top, and click on .

    Select a subject if you want to add a subject-specific event. For a general event, don't select any subject.

    Enter the event in the "Title" field.

    Optional: You can add more details in the "Details" field.

    Enter the date for your event by clicking on the field.

    Optional: Enable a reminder and set the reminder time by clicking on the field.

    Optional: You can transfer the event to your calendar by clicking the "Transfer to my calendar" toggle.

    Optional: You can add a photo or document by clicking on the respective camera icon.

    Then click on "Save".

  • How can I transfer an event to my calendar?

    Activate the "Transfer to my calendar" toggle when entering a new event.

  • How can I delete a homework task or an event?

    Click at the bottom on and choose either the "Appointments" or "Tasks" tab.

    Open the entry you want to delete and click on the delete icon at the top right.

    Click on "Delete task/event".

    If you don't want to go into the detail view, you can also simply swipe left. This will immediately delete the task/event.

  • How can I set a reminder?

    When creating the task/event, select when you want to be reminded and then click "Save". Make sure you are enabled for push notifications to receive the reminder.

  • Why am I not receiving a reminder for my homework or event?

    Check your iPhone or Android settings to ensure that "Allow Notifications" or "Enable Notifications" is activated.

  • What is the AI Homework Help?

    The homework help is an artificial intelligence that supports you in your school life. You can ask any questions related to your school tasks, get help with preparing for exams, or find answers to other topics that concern you.

  • Where can I find the AI Homework Help?

    Click at the bottom on to open the AI Homework Help. You can choose between asking a question or scanning a picture.

    Quick access: When you're on the homescreen (), you can simply click on the "Ask a question" or "Scan image" buttons and use them from there.

  • How can I ask the AI Homework Help a question?

    Select "Ask a question" and type your question as clearly as possible in the text field. If you're unsure about the phrasing, ask an initial question and optimize it after receiving an answer. There's no right or wrong, so just get started and try it out.

    You can also use the AI to generate facts, rephrase texts, or translate them into different languages.

  • Where can I find older questions I've asked the AI Homework Help?

    Click at the bottom on and then on "History". You can view all the questions you asked the AI, along with the answers. The time you asked the question is also displayed next to it. To view details or copy the question and answer, click on the desired question to open it in the detailed view.

  • How can I copy the AI's answers?

    Click on in the AI's answer.

    The answer will be copied to your device's clipboard, and you can paste it anywhere else.

  • My school is not found. How can I add it?

    The easiest way to find it is by typing the postal code, city, or school name in the search field. Avoid abbreviations like "IGS", "BSZ", "NMS", or "BRG", as school names in scoolio are usually written out. If your school still cannot be found, please email support@scoolio.de with the name and address of your school. We will add it to the list as soon as possible and inform you.

  • How do I change my interests?

    Open your profile by clicking on your profile picture, then click on .

    Click on next to "Interests".

    Select the interests you want to choose.

    To remove a selected interest, click on it again.

    Then click on "Select" and "Save" in your profile.

  • How can I complete my profile?

    Go to your profile overview by clicking on next to your profile picture. In your profile's info box, you will see what needs to be filled out for your profile to be complete.

  • What does the blue checkmark in the profile mean?

    The blue checkmark next to a name means that this is a verified user.

  • How can I reset my password?

    Click on "Forgot Password" during login.

    Enter your email address used to register with scoolio and click "Next". We will then send you an email with a link to set a new password. If problems occur, we will assist you in recovering your account.

  • How can I change my password?

    To change your password, you need to be logged in.

    Click on your profile picture at the top left.

    Click on at the top right.

    In the list, click on "Change Password" and enter both your old and new password.

    Click "Change Password" to save.

  • How can I delete my profile?

    Click on your profile picture at the top left.

    Click on at the top right.

    Click on "Delete Profile" and follow the instructions.

  • How can I verify my email address?

    After registration, we will send you a confirmation email (for your registration) to ensure that the provided email address belongs to you. Simply go to your email inbox (e.g., gmx.de, web.de, etc.) and click on "Confirm Registration" in the email to complete the process.

    Note: It may happen that the confirmation email is in your spam or junk email folder. If you can't find it in your inbox, please check these folders first. If you still haven't received the email, please check your email inbox settings for any filter and/or deletion rules, and ensure that HTML messages are allowed.

  • What should I do if the confirmation email was not delivered?

    If the email is not in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If it's not there, send us an email at support@scoolio.de.

  • How can I change my email address?

    To change your email address, you need to be logged in.

    Click on your profile picture at the top left.

    Click on at the top right.

    Select "Change Email Address".

    In the form, enter the reason for the change, your new email address, and your current scoolio password, and click "Submit".

    If successful, you will receive a confirmation email at your new address within minutes.

    Click the link in the email to complete the change of your email address.

    Follow the instructions on the website.

    If there are any issues, send us an email at support@scoolio.de.

    Note: If you signed up via Google, Apple, or Facebook, changing your email address is not possible. In this case, you must create a new account with your new email address.

  • Where are the badges?

    Click on the flame icon at the top of the screen and then the "My Badges" button.

  • What do I get badges for?

    You get badges for various app activities. Check out the "My Badges" overview and explore the variety of different badges.

  • How can I collect flames?

    You automatically collect flames by being active in the app daily. If you miss a day, you lose them as well.

  • What are jewels and what can I exchange them for?

    Jewels are the in-app currency at scoolio. You can collect jewels and exchange them for various new and exclusive features. Additionally, you can send virtual gifts to other users using jewels.

  • Where can I find my jewels?

    The number of your jewels is displayed on the homescreen. By clicking on this number, you will access the jewel section where you can earn and redeem jewels.

  • How can I earn jewels?

    Similar to flames, you can earn jewels by daily activities. Additionally, you can receive jewels for various activities in the app, such as completing your profile. More details can be found in the "Earn" section overview.

  • What are gifts, and how do I send and receive them?

    Gifts are used to make other users happy or to receive gifts from them. With your jewels, you can send gifts and add a personal message.

  • What is the "Education & Study" section?

    This section is all about you and your future! Here, you will find apprenticeship and study offers from companies and universities. You can also get information about more than 700 training professions and degree programs.

  • What do I do if I am interested in an apprenticeship/study program?

    You can request information from companies or ask questions. To do this, click on the "Request Information" button in the job offer details to receive the info.

  • Why is there advertising in the app?

    Since scoolio is free for you, you will see ads in the app. These ads come from companies, universities, or colleges looking for new recruits. They advertise offers for apprenticeships, internships, or study programs. This is meant to support you in making decisions about your professional future.

  • What are the benefits of upgrading to a Premium membership?

    With a Premium membership, you can fully utilize the scoolio AI. Take pictures of your homework and get instant solutions, ask as many questions as you like, tackle longer questions, and keep track of your entire history!

  • How can I subscribe to a Premium plan?

    In the AI homework help section, you will find a golden button with a diamond icon at the top right. Click this button to activate the Premium offer.

  • How can I cancel my subscription?

  • Can I get a refund?

  • Does my Premium subscription renew automatically?

    Your subscription automatically renews for a week, a month, or twelve months, depending on the subscription length. You can check your current status anytime in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and cancel it up to 24 hours before your subscription expires.

  • Can I change the email address of my account?

    Currently, it is not possible to transfer your subscription to another account.
