Jobwall for companies

02.12.2020

In November 2020, the Futurespace feature in the scoolio app was successfully expanded for both students and businesses: The previously available personality test is now linked to the Jobgame. This integrates over 550 job profiles that young people can explore.

The Futurespace in the app now includes three games: a daily general knowledge quiz, a personality test, and job profiles. Students can choose which gamification element they want to use. The daily quiz can be taken once a day with 16 new questions. The personality test allows young people to assess their individual characteristics, get to know themselves, and receive initial guidance on which training and study options might suit them. The test is based on the Riemann-Thomann model. Students can see whether their creative, strategic, or analytical personality traits align more with the Spontaneous Individualist or the Goal-Oriented High-Flyer. This is complemented by initial suggestions on which industries align with their individual type.

The Jobgame gives students the opportunity to discover more than 550 professions and find inspiration for their career path. With individual filters for various categories, it is also possible to specifically select an industry or attributes to see the diverse professions available in that field. Job cards can be swiped left (not interested) or right (favorite). Every interesting profession is saved in the student's personal favorites list. The cards contain essential facts, from job titles to start dates. Additionally, users can click to explore further insights through a video and a detailed description of the training content.

What opportunities do job profiles offer for business-specific talent recruitment?

As a company searching for young talent, scoolio offers the opportunity to create personalized job cards. In addition to your logo and a desired company image, you can define all the key details about your training or study opportunities:

  • Hard facts about school performance and relevant subjects provide an initial insight into what is preferred or required.
  • The start date and duration of the career opportunity can be specified, along with compensation details.
  • Just as corporate culture varies, so do the expectations for what kind of young talent is desired. Attributes can also be defined to assess whether there is a good match with interested candidates.

Multiple text boxes allow not only for a general job description but also space for individuality.

  • What makes training at your company special?
  • What development opportunities are available after completing the training or studies?
  • Are there any benefits for young professionals?
  • Insights, experiences, gadgets, and much more...

An interactive connection between the various game and discovery elements in Futurespace aligns personality types with professions. scoolio generates a precise match between interested users and their personal suitability for specific career fields. Subsequently, relevant job profiles are highlighted with a visual call-to-action for students within the game.

Additional information can be requested through the saved favorites list. We aim to support students and businesses in successfully networking. This way, students can access training and study opportunities that align with their preferred career path in their desired region. For businesses, it provides the opportunity to establish personal contact based on the student's initial expression of interest.

Another positive effect of our gamification approach is the expansion of traditional advertising through a content-driven method. The career orientation feature generates significant added value, and existing base formats can be used within an individualized branding strategy. This allows for a straightforward and flexible design of career opportunities.

The placement of traditional ads within the app's features, combined with detailed job profiles, enhances company and university presentations. Students encounter multiple touchpoints during their app sessions, reinforcing brand awareness and successfully generating interest.
