With the following privacy information, we would like to inform you about all data processing activities that occur in connection with your use of our app. We are legally obligated to inform you in a transparent and easily understandable way, while also complying with the legal requirements for a complete privacy notice. During the use of the various features of the scoolio App Pro, various data processing activities take place. We would like to transparently present them here:
When downloading the scoolio App Pro, certain necessary data about you is transmitted to the relevant app store (Apple App Store, Google Play, or HUAWEI AppGallery). In particular, your email address, username, customer number of the downloading account, unique device identifier, payment information, and the time of the download will be transmitted to the app store. We have no influence on the collection and processing of this data, as it is exclusively handled by the app store you selected. Therefore, we are not responsible for the collection and processing of this data; responsibility lies solely with the respective app store.
As part of using the scoolio App Pro, Google provides us with anonymized crash information about the app. This includes data about the device (e.g., "Samsung Galaxy S7"), the operating system used (e.g., "Android 11.0"), the app version number, and the crash date. These details are visible to us as developers in the Google Play Console. We have no influence on the collection and processing of this data, as it is exclusively handled by Google and cannot be deactivated by us. Therefore, we are not responsible for the collection of this data.
Through the timetable feature, you can enter your individual timetable into the scoolio App Pro. This will be stored locally on your smartphone, meaning no information about you or your timetable will be transmitted to us or others. If you want to delete your timetable, you can do so directly in the scoolio App Pro.
In the grade overview, you can enter all your school grades, view your current overall average, and set a target average for motivation. Your grade overview is stored locally on your smartphone, meaning no information about you or your grade overview is transmitted to us or others. If you want to delete your grade overview, you can do so directly in the scoolio App Pro.
In the task and appointment management, you can easily manage all your upcoming and completed tasks and appointments, assign them to individual subjects, and set reminders. The information you enter is up to you. Your task and appointment management will be stored locally on your smartphone, meaning no information about you or your tasks and appointments is transmitted to us or others. If you want to delete your tasks and appointments, you can do so directly in the scoolio App Pro.
Additionally, you can transfer your tasks and appointments to your device's native calendar. Depending on the application and your personal settings, the provider of your device's calendar may receive information about you. For this data processing, the respective provider is responsible. Please check with this provider in advance or discuss with your parents.
If you have any questions or suggestions about the scoolio App Pro, you can contact support at any time. You can also directly reach out to our support team. In doing so, your email address or phone number, as well as your described issue, will be processed by us. The processing of your issue is done to fulfill our obligations under the user agreement of the scoolio App Pro (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR) or to provide you with the fastest and most effective support in your and our interest (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR).
Your information will only be shared with others if it is absolutely necessary to address your issue. We will store your inquiries and associated information as long as necessary to fully address your issue or as long as we are subject to legal retention periods and are legally required to store your inquiry temporarily.
According to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have various rights. You have the right to:
